I am trying to move my sun in a more elliptical path, instead of a circle, because I do not want 12 hr Night/Day cycles.

I am having a pretty hard time of it. Nothing seems to be working. I either get really long days, or short days. For instance, I can get it light around 7, but then its dark around 4-6. Ideally, I want about 16 hours of daylight. I am not even getting close to that. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks blink0k,

I ended up adding an offset to the TimeofDay to "back into" the correct daylight time.

Just out of curiosity: Is it a Nordic midsummer based game or so?

Yes, but I am not going for ultra-realism.
