i'm searching a way to make my own wireless command for my agk project. (just 4 big buttons).
Do you think that it's possible with Arduino ? Wireless ?
(i'm a newbie with Arduino)
Many thanks for your ideas !

so the Arduino system could be recognized as a wireless keyboard ? This is my idea :

a pc bluetooth dongle, arduino connected with an HC-05 wireless and some buttons.

I'm not sure. AGK2 has an automatic controller / joystick detection I think, but so far I haven't got my Steam Controller working, so haven't really dug into using joysticks. Sounds like an interesting project though! Let us know how it goes!

Yeah would be interesting if AGK's recognizes Arduino Leonardo keyboard inputs.
The other method would be to use an esp8266 and communicate via http commands then you have a nice wireless controller.
For the wireless method you would need the esp to host a website or maybe it's possible to use sockets directly !?
I played with all those things but never in conjunction with AppGameKit, but I'm sure its possible somehow.

My idea is : the arduino recognized as a wireless keyboard (or a joystick). i've just received the arduino R3. So now i need to know how it works. If someone here have experimented some code with arduino...;
In the case of i can simulate a keyboard, this could be easy with the agk application. I've already mapped the keys a,b,c,d to the classic keyboard.
i've buy a usb bluetooth dongle and an bluetooth card extension for the arduino.
i'm not sure to use http as the pc isn't connected to the web or wifi network. Just bluetooth.

Perhaps it should be more easy to simulate arduino as a joystick (just to catch 4 buttons).

Thanks Jambo for the idea i've also buy an arduino leonardo. it seems easier to program it for keyboard emulation. Crossed fingers to test it with agk.

Interesting when an 105 years old person use this pad with my agk project to play a pacman like or quizz serious game.
