Here's a small shader pack I made that emulates the rendering style of the original Playstation.
It features low accuracy vertex positioning, no texture filtering and affine texture mapping.
It also comes with a post processing shader that downsamples and restricts the colour palette of the screen.

Have fun.

Neat. I'm gonna fiddle with it ! Is the shader for static entities the same used by segments ?
Also, do you think that a shader could render a character in such way to have its geometry to look like less detailed/more blocky ?
That would be a nice addition.

Thank you for this great giveaway !

BTW
Is there a way to reduce the effect ? It makes me sick pretty quickly.

Just in case you don't like the texture distortion here's a version without it.

Uzi, these are terrific Thank you for making & sharing these. I love the post-process full-screen retro one.
Gives everything a nice PS1 or older feel. Love it!
My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..
Lots and lots of random features...

@superunixstudio

For the post effect retro_screen.fx, place the retro_screen.fx in your effectbank\postprocess folder then use this script in a trigger zone anywhere in your map. (download at bottom)

For the other effects, place them in your effectbank folder. Then attach them to entities using the properties panel. As far as segments go thats a little harder but you can find all the info you need here: https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/187966
