Any way to import .x into Blender 2.79? This option only allows export, despite it saying import/export. I could have sworn I imported .x in the past, but the option is gone now. Maybe I converted into fbx or dae through another online converter.

I usually use this but not sure if animations carry over.

there is no default importer for .x to blender but there is a third party plugin i believe. its a shame really since .x is the only format that blender and agc fully agree on.

@smerf ....Yeah ...there's no longer x. importer, but long ago you could import .x . I've got all blender rar files, and the version 2.49 can impor .x and save to blend . Then we can load the blend file in new version .I'm not sure if we'll lose the animation properties .

The only plug-in I have found does not work with 2.79b.
