playing around again and ended up with a simple close combat.
Wanted it a bit fun so have a boxing glove …..

I reckon different angled and positioned fists/gloves randomly chosen when punching so it's not always an undercut/uppercut will look cool

Blinkok i made fist but looked not good at all so made a boxing glove that where simplier

If you want could you draw a fist and one fist should look like its upgraded with metal knuckles or something.
going to add a upgrade that is muscles that will make throwback of weapons less and stronger punch.

Fist image is simply pointing straight upwards and can be 64x64 or 128x128 with as little transparency as possible.

Looks good. You should create a top view one too so that you can get the different type of random angle punches

I love your game Cliff, and think it's super polished.....but I have to be honest, I've no love for this. Apart from a whole new thread for a very small feature, the glove makes no sense? Why is he wearing a boxing glove? Why that angle? Why no wrist? Personally, and this is just me maybe, but it comes off as a "quick hack" rather than a new feature to me.

I'd prefer it punched forward, maybe just a plain arm so it maintains that first person perspective. You'd already thrown about 5 punches before I worked out you were punching here, thought it was an icon on the screen.

I noticed alot of projects seam to move over here and asked why and got told showcase where for finished projects ?
But must be honest that i could not help that some of my threads with almost a week in between got bumped pretty close during a while

I belive i asked people wath they thought about them before i put them in the final game ?

But my English is not that good always.

But there will be silent for a while now as iam taking a break and tinkering with the next project.

Pixelstein seam to promote it self lately and downloads increase each day so iam happy right now.
I wanted to do a casual retro fps and think iam close now.
