Bit of an odd question....is there a way to get a filename for a file which does not exist?

What I mean is, if asking a PC user to save something, can we open a file browser to find a folder, then allow a filename to be entered that doesn't already exist? ChooseRawFile won't let you select a non existant file.

Seems AppGameKit only really accomodates loading a file??

Yeh I found that a bit strange. So what I did was saved a set name to the same folder that you last loaded from

A window that just requests a name here would work and only allow the save if the file doesn't already exist
or perhaps delete if exists. Need your own windows library to really make use of saving i saw one on the
forums somwhere

That looks like an excellent plugin, probably why TGC haven't fixed it.

I would highly recommend you go with the windows standard one
Look-a-likes for loading/saving files can be very frustrating. I use blender and there is nothing worse than it's homemade load/save dialogs.
I also use a pop-up utility to save/recall my work areas which does not work with such homemade dialogs.
Windows also has all the "Quick access" and other standard directories as well.
Most of all i think it's a lot of work you don't have to do and don't have to worry about moving forward

I hear what you're saying, but for my purposes (for now at least) I'm restricting saving to My Docs as it gets round any permission issues, and the RAW commands aren't always the easiest to navigate with. It's a straighforward system for me, it only requires users to be able to pick for a simple list, or choose to save a new file, so for now I'm going with my own option.
