Is there a way to quickly clear out a type variable?

Point is moot, as I have moved the sprite generation to its own function. Unintended consequence is the variable will automatically be cleared.

When i have the need to clear a variable i will generally define another type and call it Blank and never initialize it
Then when i want to clear our my type i add;
MyType = Blank
