Was inspired by TGC's Knight that they gave away, so I created it again, this time lower poly though. I plan to use it for an RTS, so I'm trying to keep the count low. He currently has no weapon(not much of a knight!), but that's only because he'll be able to equip different weapons.(oh, ok)

Well, help you enjoy, C&C away.

[edit] Don't like the cape? I have another version that's exactly the same, yet no cape.

(Texture and animations coming sometime soon.)

Thanks for the compliment.

687 Polygons as of now, and will probebly not go any higher. Ideally, I've decided that making a sword in about 30 polygons and attaching it permanently may be the best way to go for me. Goal is to texture, and get a few simple animations done over my Chrimstas Break.

Any other comments are appreciated.(Compare to the TGC model if you like, for it's nearly the same with a few little tweaks.)

Yea, the texture takes care of that. Once you see it in 3D it doesn't look to boxy. Remember, it's for an RTS, so if it's a little boxy I should be okay. Need to keep the count down though.

Currently working on texture.

What was I thinking?

Head,feet, and cape are finished textured. I'll post update once it's finished textured and I plan on doing some animations.

looks great! and 687 polys! well done.
the only thing i noticed was from the front view with wireframe.. looks like you could round the legs out a bit without adding polys, just pull that middle edge out a bit. its a bit hard to tell exactly what it looks like in the arm region, but maybe u could just pull that long straight edge out a bit... it just looks like theres about 10 polys all facing the same direction, and if that happens, ill always move some vertices so the polys arent all planar.
if its just an optical illusion, please slap me

@deX

The legs have been made more rounded out. I pulled the polies a little more, but you still really can't make out anything different.(In other words, it still looks like a box)

@RPGamer

@All

Still working hard on the model. The texture is nearly complete, and I've started messing around with basic animations.

Looks promising, just bit blocky. Also proportions looks right only hands seems to be small I think...
