I have been dabbling with various revisions for a first person game, some work better than others. It is all made up on the spot though without using any references, only utilizing the commands I know of.

I'm wondering if anyone has posted a robust first person example, something that properly handles player collisions against terrain and walls, hills and strafing, solving movement and gravity at the same time. I built some systems but they're all flawed when it comes to properly solving collision problems. I'd love to take a look at a properly thought out example.

Cheers

Wait a minute.... since... when... did we get character controllers?

GOOD LORD THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED!
I've been trying to create my own god damn movement system using Sphere Casting. I thought that was the only way... I was actually under the impression that you had to create the entire collision system by yourself....
