Now that Adaptive Scaling is clever and interesting. Is this a mod or scripting?

@ Dark Lord As xplosys said, the adaptive scaling is a really clever idea, not sure how to put into a game?
I guess for in-game items that need players attention ?
Now the 3d HUD would be a great addition for multiplayer Heck yes!
( I'm still trying to get a database to work in vanilla fpsc )

@ncmako the adaptive scaling can be used for a light decal, 3d hud or something else. I designed the 3d HUD for multiplayer games, but it can also be applied to singleplayer.
This was my inspiration:

Hope that we can play multiplayer games together soon

WoW! The video is intense. I've been away from reals shooters for a while. LOL
Having the distance included with the HUD is awesome. Any chance of that?
And when you're done with that, can you make me a game like Battlefield 3 to use it in?

Late post but great work Dark Lord, watchu think about adding names for characters (Example: Showing names on the top of the characters like the Playstation 2 Call of Duties or Medal of Honor, or show them only when you hover your mouse to the character like the modern day games)

Dark Lord Nice work with the water shader. The first one video (entity water) it's not a water plane ?
but an entity with the water shader attached. May I correct in that? Looks good.

@superunixstudio if FPSC v1.20 is stable on your PC, then these features will work fine.

@Pvt.Dan good idea. I made a quick example.

@ncmako yes, it's not a flat plane, but high poly mesh with animated texture and water shader.

Thank you for your interest in my work. Dark Force will be included in your favorite mod, Black Ice Mod

@and249 thank you. I use these settings
setup.ini
lightmaptexsize=1024
lightmapquality=50
and also ReShade for the advanced post-processing. You can go even further if you set everything to max

You don't have to use FPSC lighting for "awesome shadow effect". For example this scene has 0 lights

I also make photo-realistic textures, but in your case it's so apic. this is a scanned room? )
you find it on the internet or did by yourself?

It looks cool, and it seems easy, but for this you need very good lighting, and the absence of any objects.
I take photos for my game and it’s quite difficult under such conditions. due to poor lighting, a lot of noise appears, also the shadow falls from objects.
sorry, I'm using google translator

It's a scan, not by me. 1 model with 1 diffuse texture + ReShade bloom. I reduced the polycount. You can also import your scene into 3ds Max or other software and bake the lighting over the texture.
@5wee† your screenshot looks awesome, nicely done

@JC LEON thank you
My highest priority is to prepare for use the current already shown features. I'm also working on a new multiplayer features which I will present in the near future. Most of the things are ready so far, but my list constantly grow. I recently tested parallax effect on FPSC

This looks really good! Do these still use regular normal maps or something else?

Actually, this test is not the traditional parallax we're all familiar with. The entity has no shader at this moment. I'm still reflecting if I should include this in Dark Force.

Holy smokes. This looks amazing. If those innovations are open source, it could mean FPSC to be a helluva lot more relevant than GG.

@ Metozee Hello and welcome.
Quote: "the meshes keep displaying white"

You should start a new thread with a question like this. Dark Lord started this one to show some of his work being done.

Usually a white texture means the texture itself is missing or the file path is incorrect. Is it entities or segments with his problem, or maybe a particular pack ?
I would start a new thread and post your question. Others can better help you who had similar problems

@ Metozee Starting your own thread is simple, at the Bottom of each main forum ( Products Chat,Scripting & Models/Media ) section you will
see where to start a new thread. A Subject Header line, and then the text area for you to write. Then hit "Post Thread" You can attached files/images if need be
Easy

Lets bump this thread to the top. Some good new stuff popping up
Objective pointer, terrific !
Smooth Music Transition, are there "new" commands for this or something that's been hard coded ?

Also, I missed the Multiplayer Waypoints until now. Wow, so is it like having an in-game mp "bot" ???

I made two variations of the "Smooth Music Transition" feature, it's not hard coded. You just have to place 1 or 2 entities (depends on the preferred method) on your map, plus 2 trigger zones. Full description is included in the folder "Docs".
"Multiplayer Waypoints" is a different waypoint path than the standart waypoint system. The reset animation glitch does not appear in this case, where each waypoint reset the animation of the entity. Multiplayer bot that walks around or a vehicle which can hit you. You will need a lobby if you going to use any of these, because all players have to be synchronized for an identical movement of the entity.
