I see RecordSound() is still on the to do list. Just thought I'd bring it up once again because I could really use this. I'd like to make a utility for recording voice notes (I like that the playback function allows for playback at different speeds) but it seems that RecordSound() is there is H1 only.
I'm still going through the tutorials so maybe there is another way to do this with Tier 2 instead?

+1 It'd be nice to have (maybe as a threaded option) to develop VOIP apps/games with among other potential projects.

+1 Recording, and the ability to access live input and output audio streams for voice changers, sound activated game controls, voice recognition etc. Would be great to wrap something like SuperPowered but I fear licence fees would be prohibitive (no idea how much it costs). 3D audio effects would be really useful.
