Hi,

We are preparing to publish our game on Valve's Steam game service soon.
We noticed that when exporting to Windows the game's audio/visual resources are not obfuscated?
Any way to obfuscate?
Let us know, thanks!

Jesse

There are several methods to do this.
Back in 2016, I published a game on Steam written in Blitz3D, and I protected the graphic files by encrypting the first xxx bytes of a file with a custom key.
I would load the encrypted file into a bank, decrypt it, assign the gfx, and delete the temp file again.
