n/m I found it... GetScreenXFrom3D( x, y, z ) for the X screen coord. Maybe this post can be of help to someone else in the future.

you can set a sprite depth
but all sprites will be placed over the top of 3D objects
and its quite complex to make it behave differently

Maybe try SetGlobal3DDepth()

With GetScreenXFrom3D( x, y, z ) etc. I presume you want to match up the 2D position of your sprite with the 3D object?
