Seeing this post re: GGMax tells me that TGC has had it's eye on photon.

any chance that we can be invited to the party? seems everyone else is already there.

If it's interesting, in fact I used it for 2018 in a game of mine, Penguin Push, but using Div-Like Gemix Studio, a user programmed a dll library to use it with Gemix.
and if it works

Heyyy.. Interesting I've pitched the idea long time ago as it seems a very good idea:
It's a solid thing, has many users(potential AppGameKit cust) and is used by several other game engines too, so would be more in line with the competition.

[EDIT: This feature actually makes me want to check out GG Max.. ]

I made my own multiplayer lib but I don't mind getting more features...wait I love to get more features.
I'm in, but only if TGC add's 99% of features of photon and don't stop half the way

Ditto

The only problem I foresee is the potential for additional fees if your users exceed the bandwidth limits.

$0.05 per GB doesn't sound like much, unless you have hundreds of users racking up hundreds of GBs each., because 3gb per user per month is not a lot if they are avid gamers, and you are using a 3D engine.

All that means is that you would need to charge your users to play, with your own fees that would cover those costs, but if the game is not designed to be bandwidth friendly, then your fees might hinder user participation.

I know, I know, any game server is going to cost you, just saying that we need to keep the data passed to a minimum.
