ah
So TGC was not involved? But still good to see some DB adds. You don't find much of them around here. (Where I live)
A shame that gamemaker mag died really, it could have been some nice publicity to DB.

Very much doubt TGC were involved.
Yes, it is nice to see DBPro advertised - you generally dont see it in PC World, so it'll be interesting if they'll have some in stock now...

FastTrak have the rights to all UK publishing (and, consequently, advertising). We supplied them with new material recently for the ads, but that's all. You wouldn't find DBPro in PC World, etc before because of the price point. With the new lower one, you now will.

I walked into some music shop, and there in the PC games section was a large stand with Driving test success on it

Pricey - that's DarkBASIC, PC World has stocked that for ages.

David - you can get it everywhere

TCA - Yeah, with the new lower price you will find it there now. Just not before.

Cheers,

Rich

What I'm curious about is... will driving test success rates go up in the next few months?

And will this result in more or less insane car accidents?

That's an outrage! That's front page material they've got there

Is there any other company you hate that we can burn down? I tried to burn the microsoft building to the ground but they had those Windows 95 powered guard androids.

Windows 95?
Then you should've waited until they all crashed.

I did. It took about 2 min (It ran around in a circle then exploded) but then the Longhorn attack dogs where sent out so I had to run like the wind. But less then 1 minute later they flipped out and exploded as well, and set the microsoft building in an inferno. I stood there the whole time.

This is beginning to sound like a lousy plot for Terminator 4.

Yea. After they beat the machines they discover the reason the whole humen vs machine war started was because some stupid kid installed Win 3.1 on to one of those toy robot dogs.

Now, we're just going to see insurance claims that say things like:

"I was clicking like mad but the stupid car wouldn't respond"
"I dont know what Mr Jones was upset about, I only crashed into him, he should just reboot."
"It's not my fault the simulator wasn't multiplayer."
"I've been driving 5 years in simulators and I had never seen an ambulance before, I didn't know what to do."
"I was getting lag."

God created the world in 7 days, but we're still waiting for the patch.
