I've got a project where I need to lay out a bunch of text and button items. The manual shows buttons for adding these in the Scene Editor in Media Manager. I can't seem to find Media Manager or those options. How do I get to the Add Text and Add Button options?

First guess would be that the scene Manager Window hasn't opened when you started the scene

Go to View - Windows and make sure the Scene manager is active (it should give you the option of hiding it if its active)

You are also a couple of versions out of date of Studio, the latest version is V2020.11.12

Updated to current and followed those steps. I have the option to Hide the Scene Manager. Tried toggling it - nada.

Only one more thing I can think of delete or rename the following folder:

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\AGKApps\TheGameCreators

That will do a complete reset on Studio
