Hi,

We finally got our hands on a Apple Mac Mini(not M1) desktop with macOS Monterey v12.1.
When we run our HTML5 version of our game on Safari browser there is no audio playing?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

PS - HTML5 version can be played on below webpage:

Hi Again,

We checked Safari's browser console, no errors.

Did some Googling:
Apparently for some projects built for HTML5, Apple Safari blocks HTML5 audio.
(this can be disabled in Safari's settings)

Another side note is Godot Engine HTML5 builds somehow bypasses this Apple restriction.
(I think Godot Engine uses emscripten for HTML5 builds)

Any ideas here, been using macOS for just a couple of hours.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Firefox and Chrome also block audio from autoplaying, pretty sure you have to interact with the HTML5 canvas before the browser will allow audio to play?
