posting as a separate thread so search can help others:

re: failure to generate keystore file on classic v2021.12.06 with lock-up, short version work-around:

find keytool.exe in your JDK's bin folder (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17\bin) & copy it.

go to your Classic install location's android folder ("App Game Kit 2\Tier 1\Editor\data\android"), create the "\jre\bin" folders there and paste keytool.exe inside.
