On Windows 11 using AppGameKit Classic IDE 2021.12.06

Do others expect "11" ?

I get the same thing

10 on windows 11

I think this is because windows 11 is so new and almost just like windows 10.

yes, but I would have expected the function to be returning a value based on what Windows returns directly. i.e. not relying on AppGameKit code logic and thus forward compatible.

I suspect Windows 11 is returning '10' as I see other systems reporting it as 'Windows 10 NT 10.0'

Windows 10 is Version 10.0.19044 21H2 (Release Channel)
Windows 11 is Version 10.0.22000 21H2 (Insider Preview Channel)

This could of course change with a Release Version, to 10.1 or 11.0 but at this point I'm not so sure.
Development is going very slowly, with numerous serious issues preventing widespread support... with exceptionally low adoption rates.

And with good reason.
Look... I've always historically Early Adopted every new build of Windows and while I've had teething problems with various changes., usually in terms of usability...
Well I've never actually "Gone Back" to a previous release of Windows until now.
There is frankly nothing redeeming about it, to endure it's lack of performance, stability, compatibility or needless UI Changes.

I do not see it being accepted as a replacement for Windows 7 / 10., and I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on/with it.

I've had windows 11 installed for a few days and I haven't encountered any problems yet and so far I like the new UI as well.
