I'm compiling my game using the latest version of Studio, but no matter what I put in the SPLASH screen field while compiling, the game will ALWAYS start with the AppGameKit splash screen.....
What am I doing wrong (if anything).

Checked the IPA file, and the SplashLogo.png file is in there in the main Payload directory.
However, it doesn't display.

Reference to that file are also found in:
_CodeSignature\CodeResources
LaunchScreen.storyboardc\01J-lp-oVM-view-Ze5-6b-2t3.nib\objects-11.0+.nib
LaunchScreen.storyboardc\01J-lp-oVM-view-Ze5-6b-2t3.nib\runtime.nib

I cannot find a .png file in the entire ipa file with the AppGameKit logo.....

You're not doing anything wrong. iOS splashes and icons are definitely broken.
And the problem isn't with your project configuration. It is 150% AppGameKit Studio and AppGameKit 2 problem.

The image needs to be square for it to work.
Issue solved.

I do not get that and wonder where the main programmer's minds where when that happened.
