Nothing much, just some kid. Finished model and texture today, may rig tommorow (that is, if CharacterFX will just let me Rig the model, and export the bones).

Not to mention my lowest polygon human so far

692 Polygons

C & C Welcome

Cheers,
Preston

[PS]If you're wondering whatever happened to my realistic man model, probably never going to finish that, I rather the style I use now

Texture is the saving grace for this model as RPGamer has said.

Describe your style to me. If you would.

First off, I do not have a sister, I have a brother. Second, I'm not Irish. Third, yes, my brother is fat.

Thats where every one of my models seem to kill my interest to complete the model, the texture. I'm not good at texturing at all.

My current style is creating the whole thing from a standard cube. Really, thats it. My old style would be creating an object from a 4 cylinders and a smoothed Dodecahedron. I like to give an anime kind of feeling to my models, but keep it in touch with reality. Seems silly, huh, considering the stuff I've cranked out before.

Cheers,
Preston

I'll post more than that. I updated the texture a bit, though its not professional looking, its better than before.

Cheers,
Preston

Yep, I had DBPro smooth the normals intentionally. It doesnt actually smooth the mesh though.

You could probably smooth out the lower half of the shirt by adding just a few more polys. You don't have to smooth the entire thing, just add enough to make the shirt look less boxy. What you did for the shorts was excellent even at that poly count, maybe you could do something like that, but for the shirt.

The model itself is excellent, but could you increase the light strength in dbpro a little? The shadows and highlights are a little dark...

People? I hate people. People are stupid.
