At first glance, I'd say that is like asking, "How do I use my screwdriver as a cutting torch?"

Milkshape creates 3D models and DB displays them. Different verbs.

Creating deformable models and terrain with a program in realtime can be a serious feat. It is possible, but you'd have to do some clever programming. As a shot in the dark, you would have to load the model into DB, create a mesh of the object to be altered, move the mesh to a memblock, magically tweak all the verts in the mesh (very complex 3D stuff?), move the mesh back to an object, re-texture, and display.

There are cheats and short cuts, if you know where the hole is going to go. You can make the model with a hole already in it and add a plug. When you want a hole, just hide the plug.

Milkshape doesnt have a CARVE tool. You have to use vertices and polys to make a hole.
