the file panel has moved out. How to fix it?

deleting the TGC folder here:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\AGKApps\TheGameCreators

...will set the IDE to use default settings and generally works for things like this.

theoretically, it's one of the files inside that's the culprit but deleting the works is the "quick" fix.

you could also try playing with the icon (size) settings inside the IDE:


or even the [Reset] there first, if you prefer but since your set-up looks vanilla, you won't lose much with the "hard" reset in deleting the folder.
