iOS and MacOS / Can't install AGK Studio generated IPA to iPhone

After exporting an IPA in AGKS, I next try to upload to my phone using Xcode and get the following error -

"Unable to install *AppName*
*AppName* does not contain an application bundle, so it cannot be installed on iPhone 13"

As far as I can tell, the dev certificates and provision profile (Adhoc) are correct, not sure what the problem is. A quick search through the forum turned up Kevin Cross mentioning something similar December 2019 but no further details.
