Forgotten is a casual memory game set a couple of hundred years ago in a distant village cemetery and my entry for the AGK Finish It! Jam where you'll Match souls with their proper resting place:

  • Find the correct resting place for each as they appear on the right by selecting a gravestone on the left in the fewest attempts possible.
  • Web & WIN versions available.

and, please do Rate the Jam submissions during the next couple of weeks? Voting is open to the public

Thanks!

Very challenging and I like the fact the the avatar sets are not the same every time. I'd like to see a version with maybe two to three times as many characters, and perhaps switching up the scenery every few rounds and adding timed levels would really spice things up! This is a game I can play over and over because I'll never be any damn good at it.

Thanks for checking it out and the feedback, derek.

I might continue the project and will consider the additional features

Lately i've been thinking about revisiting TableRunner and Pops The Clown; a couple of "early" projects from me that deserve updates before i dig back into this one?

Time will tell.

Thanks again!

i've posted an update today based on some feedback received; notes HERE.

sorry, derek. i'm not up for your suggestions just yet but i think it's still worth a replay or 2

i recorded a (lucky) test run of the update today:

you don't need to play quite as fast (or, based on the results, maybe you do?); you just need to remember (to remember)!

@jd_zoo & GCH, i've had much more (still)!

meanwhile, the jam received a healthy number of ratings per entry and thanks for that. we Jammers appreciate knowing that others spend a few minutes with our creations

i was fortunate enough to narrowly edge out my friendly competition which probably inspired me to go ahead with the update sooner than later. woot!

if you find some fun in Forgotten, please help share it by Rating it?

thanks again!

Enjoy a Ghastly Gathering of Memories exclusively throughout the month of October with today's Update to Forgotten featuring the addition of an appropriate set of souls now roaming the Graveyard, beckoning to be Remembered!

i wish i'd have focused on Forgotten sooner given there's only ~a week before halloween but i think the update adds to the spirit of the season and hope you'll agree.

enjoy
