Hey all, I've been programming in DBC for about 3 months now and wasn't doing much except simple 2-d space invaders clones. I was thinking of doing an FPS so I could learn about 3-d as I went. I was just wondering what I would need to get started(cart shop,texture maker etc.)Thanks.BTW I have DBC and milkshape.

Sorry for the self-promoting, but you could try DeleD for level creation. Simply create your levels by using cubes, rectangles, cylinders etc. It exports to DirectX .x files which can be read by DarkBasic and there are a few people on this forum who have done something simular already.

Thanks.I've had a look on the deled website and it didn't give much info. Is it possible to make whole FPS levels in it as in the inside of structures or is it more a 3-d modeller for static objects.

If you take a good look at the DeleD website, you wouldn't have to ask this question. There are a number of screenshots of interior and exterior levels. So to answer your question: yes you can create whole FPS levels like you want + you can use it for static objects.
