I get:
Quote: "
Error: failed to run bundletool, output: [BT:1.17.1] Error: module 'base' contains
resource files but is missing resource table.
com.android.tools.build.bundletool.model.exceptions.InvalidBuildException: Module
'base' contains resource files but is missing resource table.
"

This worked fine with the old TGC version of the language now it is broken the only thing I have done here is actually update the steam version to the latest one.

Is there something I am doing wrong here?

I have just tested it and it is indeed broken. This is based on a version I built in July that and was tested by myself and others and it worked. Something has gone wrong when Lee has processed it to upload to Steam by the looks of it. The API34 version used to work but now has the same error. I'm not sure what todo about this because when I build the Repo it woks but when Lee builds it he gets a different output.

I'll email Lee to see if he can do anything with it

I'll try and find out what the issue is over the weekend., I've also emailed Lee about it. I think the Steam version dated the 2024_09_10 is probably the best version for now.

I'm going to try and do one last build for Lee to try on Steam and then that will be my last participation in the Studio Repo as there are too many issues when it is released on Steam for which I do not have any control over. For people who are have trouble with the Steam version I would suggest that they should try downloading the API 34 branch and use my guide to build it.

I will continue some work on the Classic Repo as this is the version of AppGameKit that I use and I may release updates via Github.

I was going to upload the source code for Classic to GitHub but the source code I received from TGC isn't clean so it isn't really suitable for GitHub as instead of having approx 10,000 file (1GB data) it has closer to 30,000 files (3.5GB data).I have started the process of manually cleaning the data but this is a slow and time consuming process and as there hasn't really been much interest in the Classic Repo I'm not rushing it and may never fully complete it. I may also remove the build steps for linux, mac, pi, trial versions etc to simplify and speed up the build process.

I appreciate the hard work you're doing Zaxxan, but I definitely think the Steam version that's not a beta shouldn't be broken hahah. Hopefully Lee can fix it.

@PHeMoX

As far as I understand it the official version that's on steam comes directly from TGC. The Zax version worked and was handed over to Lee. Something went wrong during the review-release process at TGC.

Thanks, yeah seems like it. Actually, my Steam version of AppGameKit Studio should now be the 09.10 beta one which I selected, but it still shows 07.07 in the application window at the top (title) for some reason there when running AppGameKit Studio. Maybe something got mixed up in the beta versions too.

The original version was built by Lee on 07.07.2024 and uploaded to Steam. Some users had issues with that as there were files missing. I think it was rebuilt by Lee and uploaded to Steam but this also had issues. The build dated 07.07.2024 that I built didn't have these issues so Lee uploaded that to Steam as DEVTEST version which worked. This was then made the main release but somehow this now has an error that has been recently reported with the apk exports. That's why there are several versions with the same IDE date. If you download the Repo this will have the IDE dated 07.07.2024 as well. I'm going to do another build this weekend, I'll change the date on the IDE to save confusion, test it and if everything is ok I will zip it up and pass it on to Lee so that he can try once more with a Steam release.

This is what I can remember but may not be entirely accurate due to my crap memory.

I preferred it when the releases could be downloaded from TGC.
