I've got a new app I'd like to release for iOS but have run into a problem.

I currently have AppGameKit Studio v2023.07.17 installed on my Mac Mini (the last version available from TheGameCreators website). Apps created with this version are not accepted by Apple any more as they need to be built with the iOS 17 SDK and it builds them with the iOS 16.4 SDK. There is no newer version of AppGameKit Studio available from this website.

I suspect Steam may have a newer version available but I cannot install Steam on my Mac Mini because it required at least MacOS 10.15 and my Mac won't go over 10.13 (yes - it is old but a new one is megabucks).

So, my questions are these:
Is there a way to install an old version of Steam on my old Mac? (This is assuming there is a newer version of AppGameKit Studio for the Mac on Steam).
Or is there anywhere I can get a newer version of AppGameKit Studio for Mac without using Steam?

I haven't built any apps for iOS in a few months and the versions I have were fine until now. Thanks.

I suggest you head over to the syntaxbomb forums as MucMac and Qube have the same issue and Qube is trying to build the Mac repo. If you all put your heads together you may find a solution.

Zappo, just use OCLP to run a modern MacOS on your old machine. I have done that with my MacMini (late 2012, 16 GB of ram ) - it runs Sequioa 15.2 just fine. PM me if you need help.

@Zaxxan - Thanks. I saw mention of that forum in another post so have bookmarked it now.

@MucMac - I hadn't heard of OCLP so am trying it out now. I will let you know how it goes but it's looking good so far. Many thanks for pointing me in that direction.

@MucMac - I just wanted to thank you again for pointing me to OCLP. I have successfully installed a new MacOS on my old MacMini and it is working great. Steam and AppGameKit Studio both appear to run perfectly .
If anyone else considers trying OCLP there are a couple of things you should probably be aware of...
1) The estimated time given to install a new MacOS is nowhere near accurate. Even if it says "under a minute remaining" on the screen it can take several hours to finish off. Seriously. I left mine overnight to be sure, but eventually it finished and works great.
2) When you first run your updated OS it will painfully slow. This is just while it indexes absolutely everything behind the scenes and finishes sorting everything out. Log in and leave it a couple of hours and mine now runs great.

Cheers
