Well everything has been going wrong latly...
First I got the MS blaster worm AGAIN.
EDIT: okay, got rid of that. So it's just me whining about school now.

Plus I have to go back to school Monday...the day I dread most...expecially with the exams right after the holydays. Someone please just bomb my school(when no one is looking). And because of that I can't move my site like I planned to, and now I have no pc. (I'm on my parent's computer as I write this)

I wish these past 2 weeks would begin again...

(Professor Farnsworth from Futurama's voice)Oh my yes. A disaster indeed.

Yeah that really sucks. I don't want to have to go back and deal with homework/students/teachers.

*ow, I keep biting my lip!*

Anyway megaton, you're not alone there.

Same here, back to school on monday, in which the teachers will start piling as much work on our desks as they can, since the semester ends on the 19th. I know one thing will be a 3 page essay on a book we read this sememster. That will be a pain!

Cheers,
Preston

You're complaining about a damn 3 page essay!?! I just finished my 15 page essay on World Religions before Christmas break! Aaaahhh.. But yeah, in high school I probably would have freaked out over a 3 page essay too

'Stupid school doesn't teach the crap you _want_ to learn.'

It isn't considered proper to teach kids sneaking around security cameras, the proper use of a stilleto flick knife, creating poisons, throwing fragmentation grenades and wielding shotguns and flamethrowers-- sorry !

Some teachers are so dumb, I just read a letter sent in to APC Mag (Australian Personal Computer) that was published in the Janurary 2004 issue. I will quote it...

Quote: "My son is currently completeing a course at the local TAFE. He recently came home with a bemussed look and related the afternoon's discussion. The head teacher of the computing section at this particular TAFE had been talking about recent viruses and explained that the entire network would have to be shut down over the weekend so the computers could cool down completely: "It's no good just turning them off because they're still warm - the virus can survive if the hard drives are still warm."
My son tried to question this with some elementary logic but she assured him it was true.
If this is the quality of teaching at TAFE colleges, what hope do we have? I'm in the middle of designing a new course on Feng Shui techniques as they relate to computer design. I have a feeling this teacher will go for it - hook, line and sinker."

The teacher's at my high school aren't that skilled either, but they know what a virus is.

megaton: I was hit by the blaster worm and so were all the office computers at my Dad's work. Luckily it was easily cleaned. Us Australians are on holidays here, we go back to school on the 28th, so we got a while to go still.

@Megaton

If you have a restore point, you could try to go back to before you got the worm.

BTW, I have midterms through the next coming week ,and a 7 page report due Friday.

Nope that won't do it, it doesn't work when the worm is in. Besides I already got rid of it.

Just use the restore point to go back two weeks... Maybe it won't fix the blaster worm, but hey it will fix those other problems.

Wait!
Maybe if I use system restore to go back 2 weeks ago, I could actually go back in time? And start the holidays all over again! Good plan!

Isn't blaster the one that shuts down the pc after a 60 second countdown? It only happens to me when I'm connected to the internet, but after re-installing zone alarm it stopped happening. Whatever virus there was, it's still in my pc, but it hasn't shown up since.

School starts tomorrow. And so does P.E., *sigh*

Yeah, we're all back too. I'm doing 4 subjects and i hardly get homework. In fact, a couple of years ago, our old Prime Minister John Major wanted to make a law against homework. I can't believe it never came through. Homework should be voluntary.

One of my most stupid teachers once said to me that Paper didn't grow on trees. We had a good giggle about that...good thing she was a trainee, hope for our sakes she never got a place in a school, or the national IQ would drop. One of our computing teachers is completely clueless, he learned everything he knows when the BBC was the top of computer technology ans he hasn't retrained since. On top of that he doesn't follow any advances in technology. Basically, the guy lives in a house with no windows-because they're blocked up by stacks of his Green Lantern Comic books. WHICH HE NEVER SHUTS UP ABOUT.

- Dave

Steve corrects me and Says it's more like 10 years since John Major tried to pass that law.

Your soul...it tastes like chicken

Sounds like the only damn law that made sense.

Nope, this one was done in Fireworks. Can I see the one you made?
Oh and just a suggestion for your other logos I saw around...the colors don't match very well...
