I always say what's on my mind, which is why i dont say much
I spend most of my time on the forums reading other people's posts. And im pretty sure most of my posts were useful or insightful in some way.

Puffy : You are just annoyed because your new avatar looks like a negative of a liquirice allsort. Although being a co non-colour avatar member we can take over the likes of Mouse and his non-avatar-at-all brigade!!!

Christ, I need some sleep now. Wireless internet while lying in bed is not always a good idea.

Ginger, unless you have made great progress with the English language, then you are not you.

Then again, the complete lack of understanding about my passing out comment..... but then the adaption of Indi's conky avatar (not B&W) is rather good (seems like Indi himself....)..... hmmmm... could it be you Ginger? Or just a wannabe?

God... my humour levels are normally stupid, but that takes the biccy...

These forums have been open for a pretty long time. Hopefully we can get to the point where we're answering more questions then we're asking...I guess I'm a regular. I know most of the old people. I can put something with most names.

I remember when we used to have chicks, too. That was the day.

Someone delete those pathetic posts... what a moron

'nyone remember SmartAss'

Yeah i remember SmartAss, actually flamed him for crude humor once, though I'd just laugh now was short fused and more self centered back then... not that much has changed, but you learn people skills .

He actually posted on Apollo not too long ago and I said hi .

DrakeX is definatly oldbie... I wasn't a frequent poster until I think 1.07. A while before 1.08 but not too much of a difference looking back. I remember his posts in the black&grey forums.

Well, I haven't been here long, but I spend at least an hour here a night, answering questions, and just having a browse for anything that looks like a good idea/project, so I can give my comments to support its progress...

I wouldn't quite consider myself as an oldbie, mainly because I haven't been on the forums that long ( but, I started using DB just a bit after 1.08 came out... ).

I wouldv'e really loved to have been on the forums back then, but at the time, I didn't even know what a forum was, lol.

Oh well... I guess it's good that I spend most of my time helping people. I don't get too angry very often, and I can think things out quite logically, so i guess I'm basically a DB Drone... Oh well...

Jess.

For the older (in age) members here, there may be a fondness to the original IDE. It makes me think "BBC Micro"

I like the old IDE too...i'm sentimental
besides the point: like i was saying, all you guys/gals seem to know each other. It's so nice, cos most of you have never met, but you all act like friends (Except for certain people...thinking Raven and just about everyone else). I have my own Avatar, and i don't plan to change it, some people recognise it as something i scanned in from a Might and Magic card but i use it everywhere. I even cropped it to 1" by 1" and put it in the depression on all the computer cases in my house. I don't browse these forums a lot, but i try to contribute when i can, and my posts are just nearing the 200 mark. But it's nice to be recognised. (Thanks)

I am as regular as clockwork, but I dont see what that has to do with forum usage, other than the stuff I talk about...

I hate the old editor. I kept pressing J and expecting the word LOAD to appear in it's entirety. Not because it looked like a Spectrum, but because it looked like it had been made with a Spectrum.

The original editor gave a very amateur feel to the whole package. I remember using DBC at work one day and the boss thought I was playing when I was working! (Actually I was writting a staff motivational game based around ten pin bowling with the boss as the pins).

I liked the original editor... It reminds me of when I first started using DB...

But, DarkEDIT is much preferable now, lol.

I loved the stylish original editor and never could get the hang of DarkEdit. Looking back from the DBP IDE to it, though, it's pretty horrific... 640x480 resolution, no syntax highlighting, no function folding, no jumping to functions or subs...

That's understandable but when you're someone who started programming in VB and hadn't really done anything else, you just look at it and think "no way".

If the old Interface had coloured text like the Pro interface, then i'd prefer it to anything else. I like the scrollbar on the original interface... >sigh< ...anyway. I'm gonna try and keep my Avatar, but i'll be changing the Pimpin Fox logo sometime soon. And i'll also be putting up the website. Hey, maybe i'll even make a game...lol...that sounds good... -Dave
