Does anyone else hate calling in sick? I have to call in sick at work tommorow to study for an exam and im dreading it. Ive only called in sick once before and it went so badly I ended up going into work at mid-day...

Just curious if it was just me.

uk.geocities.com/maniacimagine check it out. ill soon be formally opening it.

I s'pose people who don't like confrontations would dislike having to call in sick...

Smoke 8 cigarettes the moment you get out of bed and you dont have to lie when you call in. Works a treat

2 days sick in 9 years me (proper sick like). And I owe it all to my amazing physique , and brilliant diet

Oh, and my annoying morale influencing Dad. Grief, I've never even cut my finger nails on a sunday. B**tard!

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

To call in sick when you aren't you need a fundamental lack of respect for the company that pays your wages.

How would you feel if you paid a person £150 (or whatever) to do 8 hours work, and they pretended to be ill, but you still had to pay the cash? (I know this various with different employers)

I've pretended to be sick a few times, but only after my employers lost the plot and started wasting my time first.

It was extremely enjoyable & satisfying to know I was getting paid to play Medievil Total War all day

I work for my Dad so I cant really call in sick I tried it once, didnt go so well

Just tell him that you are violently ill, and while on the phone tell him "oh its comin on again" and make a big "UGHHHHHHHH" sound like your throwing up
