Newcomers DBPro Corner / Another question: where can I get simple Dark Basic examples?

hi
I got a few examples and wrote out the commands and learnt them..
but I didn't find an example how to create a model (for example a player-model or items,...)
or do I have to use programs like Milkshape 3D?

are you asking if you can make a 3d model with darkbasic? well, you can't. you will need a 3d modeller. i would recommend milkshape.

Interestingly, I think you can make models with DBPro at least. You can create memblocks from scratch, create meshes from memblocks and save meshes as .x files.

For a powerful, great priced modeller, MILKSHAPE!!! GET IT NOW!!! Well, once you try the other ones, and try the milkshape demo, just so your not TOTALLY clueless

And of course, there are the really expensive programs such as Lightwave and 3d Studio Max, but they are way over 1000 US dollars, so dont worry bout those yet. Start small move up. Id recommend Anim8or as the most easy-to-use program, but Gmax is probably the most powerful. Me? I use both!
