well, i posted this on the other boards, but i should post it here, apart from anything there are some peoples advice here that is very helpful.





about 2500 polys, although i have an optimized version on my HD (but no picture on the net)

Which program are u doing here? I'm sticking with Canvas but seems impossible to create human models with Canvas the software is quite weird sometimes...

Models can be hard with 3dcanvas because of mainly the tools restrictions...That is the version that ships on the DB CD.

My advice is use it for simple modelling and animation which is probably the only reason it was put on the CD in the first place.

You can make advanced models with it though,don't get me wrong.

the lathe model tools and surface modifiers can let you achieve high detail but,TOO highpoly.
did you try Milkshape...?Everyone can use this,even my nephew(10 yo) uses it!

i beg to differ.

this is the last model i did in canvas before i got Max, and i do post it a bit too much...
