i have bin home today and was bored and yust to fight of boredome so did i start on an new enemy model for grunt.
my idea was to make an model with as little polygons as possible and with only an skin that is 256x256 pixels in size.
so here is wath i have done so far from scratch in about 6 hours with no breaks for more then coffe.

i made it more or less for fun as i dont model so much anymore.
i wanted it to have an brand new look that i havent sen before i hope i managed that.
the red on the head is supposed to be the brain that is partially visible.

I love the texture, not too sure about the brain at the moment though. Good low poly modeling. The textures stretched on the side of the foot and the brain shouldn't go around under it's neck surely?. What did you make the texture in? Is that a gun in it's right hand?

Nice model, especially the texture!

the brain going under the neck is more that i ran out of surface to paint that part and it looked cool.
yes its going to be the gun but it will look cooler when in game and when its animated.
i use paint shop pro 7 to paint the skin in.
i was thinking that it wasent neaded to be so accurate with the feet and hands as they will never be so visual ingame.
and iam lazy.

ok jrowe i have looked now again at the skin and hope you like my changes.
thanks for the input.
the old skin made it look like santa claus or something with the red and bright border around.
let me kow wath you think of it.

its always best to put the work away and look at it later.
