Well I'm not an artist by any means, but I made a sword thingy:

I was wondering if there is a way to take polygonal 3D models out of maya and place them into darkbasic pro .. Or, if not, if there is a utility to convert it.

That's spiffy, did you do the grass too?

And I don't know the answer to your question.

The grass is a 'fur' filter i applied to a 3D plain. I'm probibally going to do a new sword from scratch though, that was my second maya model ever, i'm still learning the ropes. (Also note that the sword will never be silky smooth because i'm tryign to make it as a polygonal model, not a nerbs mesh object :p)

I don't want to sound naggy, but this is obviously a 3D thread, and should have been posted in the 3D Forum.

Nice Door.
Also like the grass.

I really don't care if he posted in the wrong forum, for this is more worthwhile then the other junk in the general section.

Well, with all the software patents out there, I can't write a game without breaking a few laws. I can't say or do certain things without breaking the law. And many many other things. So I have stopped caring aboutdownloading things like that on the internet.. They are going to get me for ~something~, and at least i'll know what it is (unlike when i got pulled over for taking a right turn on a red light at 2am.. i almost stopped but didn't come to a COMPLETE stop. my car was barely moving).

*Edit
He just gave me a warning of course
