Happy birthday mate!

Come to Britain when you are 18, go to Uni, then blackout for about 5 years! Is fun. And legal here too.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Happy Birthday! You share the same birthday as my daughter, born this afternoon!
When you are as old as me, she'll be as old as you are now...which means if you're an oldbie, I'm a geriatricbie

Happy Birthday and don't get too drunk. Is it legal to drink at 17 in the States?

PS I'm double your age.

I'll be 35 on April 23rd

Can't drink legally until 21. That's a bit of a downer.

I don't really care to drink, all those anti-alcohol campaigns, propoganda or not, have turned me away. Heh

What like this?

Our civilization faces three great dangers. The first is destruction by a nuclear war, the second is being crippled with overpopulation and the third is the Age of Leisure.

Alchohol won't kill you... for thousands of years it's been drunk by children and adults alike. My parents drink wine & beer now and then and have for decades, and they're in the best health I've seen anyone their age in. It's the hard drugs you should worry about.

yes, or overuse of alcohol will mess up your liver and your other organs. That's why I cut down my binge-drinking to like once or twice a week

alchohol=good
IMHO: as long as it's american or japanese, otherwise, it sucks. Which reminds me, my best friend is 14, one year older than me, and he and his mom had a drinking contest. he won.

Then comes tomorrow and you're a little shorter of your breath and one day closer to your death...

@Horror,

Just a friendly word of advice, statements like this...
Quote: "as long as it's american or japanese, otherwise, it sucks"

will not do anything to keep you in good favor in a forum, especially this one (TGC). You may want to follow that sentence with "IMHO" (In My Humble Opinion)

I'm still wondering about the 'oldbie' comment in the title, how's 17 considered old? o.O
