OK I deleted my other 2 threads...one was just pointless and the other...well the link I linked to got deleted So now I actually have something that I would REALLY like some opinions on!

The ED Site is being revamped...making it in FLASH so its nice and spiffy and what not Im thinking of making a template for the forums at

The template there is OK, but has a few little bugs (when you click LOGIN the text is white when you type and no easy way to change this as the white text is needed elsewhere) So I might make a new one, just custom for ED.

Im wondering what you guys think of the idea. This way the forums would be completely unique to ED. Does anyone have any good ideas on the style that would be good? Im thinking of using the same image as the banner in my sig (only modified a bit..) to be the top, but what about the color scheme? The buttons, the background? Im a terrible designer, so Im wondering what YOU guys would like to see!

o have some more images and stuff that have to do with ED
o have more emoticons
o keep the colour scheme
o make it spiffy with FLASH MX

background could seem a little hazy, kinda like a dream, where everything is blurred and distorted.
The words, could be dark in contrast to the light

umm.....

Here's some ideas:
o Use lots of java or flash
o Make it have some cooler effects like; Upload out own images or files, or custom colours for our posts.
o thats all I can think of...
