M$ shut off its free services today (messenger, hotmail, etc.), that's why. They're upgrading to pay services. :p

Any reason? Or do we now need to buy a $390 CD with "Enhanced Microsoft Internet Features"?

Has anyone ever actually read some of the stuff on MSN?

It's full of useful articles like:

*Howto get rid of a best friend who is less succesful than you.
*The best way to sack a loyal employee without incurring a court case.
*Do's and Dont's of sleeping with your secretary.
*How much will your Ferrari be worth in 3 years time.

Ok, I made them up - but these ones are sickingly genuine, from todays MSN in fact:

What to do before living together
8 must-know tips for home buyers
How to fight off phone solicitors
10 cars that lose value fastest

Planet Micro$haft must be a very 'happy' place, those topics are so freakin eliteist I could spit.

Same here, things are getting out of hand in my office... people are talking... the boss is eyeballing me suspiciously.... her trips to the bathroom are becoming more frequent...
