you know dark basic...and then u have maya or 3d studio max to create ur models in.
i assume that u can import these 3d models created with these 3d packages into dark basic?

saying this - i really must pull out my finger and get drawing my basic design of my characters for my cartoons and game. I am trying to create a series of short animated 2D cartoons (with flash mx) (hence why i am spending alot of time watching scooby doo and lord of the rings - animation version to gain ideas of how other ppl have designed and animated their characters and environments) and one 3D adventure game and a 2D game (based on the same principles of Dizzy - designed by the Oliver Twins)
about the furthest i have got on this long life project (i have not got a set time to complete this all in as i am doing it for a bit of fun and also it is something that will cheer up and give a little bit of purpose to my website lol)is writing/designing the script for the first cartoon. I have a rough idea of how my characters are going to be designed, just need to put pencil to paper to start bringing them to life.
anyway - thats part of my life story finsihed so far lol

I am obsessed by Toasters - especially talking ones...bizaare really isn't it?

Well I doubt if Scooby Doo has the sort of animation that is inspiring. Poser is educational as an animation tool. It shows you how animations are made. Then you can remember a walk for example, and reproduce it in Max.
