is availiable on my web site (in the Tech Demo section). At the moment its just showing of the multi-player system.

You may need to install Microsoft's MFC71 dlls - the installer is in the Code & Routines section.

Ignore (by pressing OK) most of the message windows that appear. And dont forget that creating & joining games is rather slow, so if you think nothing is happening, then wait a while and something might.

Movement is not too bad over a network, although it looks like it can be improved... You can, of course, run two copies on the same machines. However doing that is very slow and jerky.

The host must be fully started before joining with the client - it just sends an initialising message once, and if that isn't received then it wont join...

It does that for some reason (probably a bug there) - its either a timing issue (host hasn't setup the game yet) or you've got no network. Keep re-trying at different times.
And you will need the same connection types - and dont forget to look for message boxes around. And make sure the ip address is correct (if your running host & client on the same machine the they are the same).

Jopie - I believe your problem was due to the fact that it was using my network addresses, which were hard-coded in. Try the latest version again...

Heres a newer version - only try the single player version - the network doesn't have the firing stuff in.

Press SPACE to fire - the 'shells' fire very slowly at the moment so you can actually see them. Press SHIFT & RETURN to rotate the cannon left & right.

I'll need to re-do the speed text at the bottom right - its a bit too big.

The trees I wanted to put in were too complicated for a decent frame rate unfortunately.
