I love to surf trough every db-site around and wanted to make a link page for it. But as every link page it gets outdated etc. So i put a toplist together. Called; Dennuz666 DBZone - Toplist. It is not completly finished and am busey on the design etc. There will be little enhancements trough the creation-process.

I'm busey designing my own site but want to release this page now.

Hope u like it

how about you modify it a bit and make a DB web ring?

(1 + 2 + 3 + 4)^2 =(1^3)+(2^3)+(3^3)+(4^3)
100=1+8+27+64

Well, it is my first time that i created this kind of page. Webring crossed my mind but all i really wanted was a linkpage. Advantage of this page to webrings is that you have all sites on one page. I will add a search engine and people can add links to their sites wich creates 'Hits In'. The more hits in you have to higher the rank. If your site is listed already and want to create 'Hits In' just re-submit it and you'll receive an e-mail with instructions.

I'm gonna ditch the rating. I'm gonna rate every site myself. Just taking a look at how 'usefull' the site is to DB Programmers. So the sites with codesnippets will get better ratings.

I went through the forum and putted in some sites wich i thought where worth mentioning. Thats why you are already in there.

OOoops, I appear to have reported myself...

BTW, it's "Banshee Studios". Some Scottish g*t registered "Banshee Software" as his own company, no doubt by releasing a title that I might recognise...

UPDATE!

Hit in is more important so the more hits you get in the better. The list is shuffled

Order is now: hits in, hits out, rating.

Do you get sent an email straight away? I actually submitted an email address on a domain that only became active 24 hours later

@david T
Nope, i could automate it but i want to check and rate the site first. So i do it by hand. That's why your submission became active later.

@mm0zct
Sorry, there isn't anything DB about your site. But i kept the link in my 're-check' list.

There should be a user rating system rather than a report system. This way, sites can get rated by the user, and if the site gets bad enough ratinges, you can easily take it off that way.

So my suggustions are...

1.) Get rid of Report button, and place 1 contact button near the top or bottom of the site.(To report bad sites this way)
2.) Add a user rating system.(1 out of 5 or something)

Very nice resource though, and I enjoy looking through the DarkBasic sites. Good work

i've finnished the basics for the programming section now, it isn't great yet so you may want to put an under dev sign next to it, most of the time has been spent getting the mysql and php working, take a look now

Wow, this is a great idea!

I have found all sorts of other really useful DB snippet sights. In particular, Underwear Design is Top Notch. I wouldn't have found it if it hadn't been for your TopList - - Thanks!

Yeah, I clicked the report button, wondering if it took me to some other page. It was only when I scrolled right to the bottom that I finally discovered what it did

So...

About the 'report' button. You're right. I will take that in the next update. First going on with my DB project.

Question; what do i do about Dougs World games and DBproject. They can't get so much hits (in and out) in a couple of days. Thats why i feel they are f&*&(&@# the system.

Over 50 Dark Basic sites submitted is something to be proud of. This should be a sticky, or the site listings should be in a more accessable place.

Wow! This is getting serious

I will make an automatic mailresponse system, i have to do everything by hand (activation, sending mails if activated etc.).

Going to design my own DB page next month, with own snippets, objects etc.

thanks for putting my site up, now all i need is for people to use it, can you please email me about how to set up the link to your site correctly because i never got an email

edit: and just remembreed if you have time you could change the description of my site to:"A team of programmers and game modders, has a forum and is developing a code base" but you don't have to if you don't have time.

thanks

Phew... back in the land of the living! My compie has big problems. It is almost dead. I think my mobo is dying (fans that don't work anymore, making a lot of noise etc.). I'm waiting for a new one (this week it will arrive, my new monster: 3.2 AMD 64, with all the extra's ) Till that time i can't work on my game but designing my new webpage was still do-able. So, it is online. Still a little under construction.

athlon 64 you lucky *#*@*& on a lighter tone,glad to see that my website is still there and doing ok, just wondering, is there any reason why there is an extra table row under my site or is it just an empty row in the mysql where you removed a site?
