Is there any way to make or record an animation without using avi. I heard that avi. was for like cut scenes and things.

I am a machine I will never stop until I acomplish my goal, unless I run out of chocolate milk. Damn the hobastookers for exiling me to this remote place this deranged jipper !

Yes, AVIs is a movie format. I have seen tutorials for MS3D that were made with AVIs.

Animation, as far as 3D models are concerned, is the process of moving bones and verts in sequence to create patterns such as walking, jumping, etc.
