I'm feeling generous today, so I made a small loop for anyone who wants to use it...Its a dark ambient/weird creepy loop(great for adding that extra suspence in a horror game!)

I find it hard to appreciate people who 'write' their 'music' using loop-based programs like ACID.

It's a good loop though!

No, I didn't say YOU did. Obviously if you can make a loop, then you don't use a loop-based editor. I'm just saying, people that use Acid and just drag loops out...aren't really musicians.

@HZence You ended your post with.."It's a good loop though!" This surely means that you were saying that Grim used a program like ACID.

Err, how? The LOOP that HE MADE INDIVIDUALLY was good ITSELF. That's what I was saying. I didn't even remotely mean that he uses a program like acid, and how you got that is beyond me.

I thought the same thing as Grim. Glad to see that it was cleared up.

Quote: "how you got that is beyond me"

Let's see.

A) Grim_Reaper mentions his loop.
B) HZence replies that he finds it hard to appreciate people who 'write' their 'music' using loop-based programs like ACID.

Most users of the English language would assume that B referred to A since that is how the language is wired. The subject from one point of the conversation continues to the next point until a specific statement changes the subject. While that definately happened in HZence's mind, the translation of the event to written message didn't occur.

Disclaimer: Seriously, I'm not ragging on anyone. I'm just observing the situation and answering the question.

Is that your breathing? That sound makes me feel terribly uncomfortable and nauseous...like I'm sitting right next to someone loudly eating an orage, or like I'm listening to some terrible sex act.

*vomits*

Well you know, if you read half of my sentence, you're right.

I said, I don't think that people that write music using loops are real musicians. IF YOU MAKE THE LOOPS, THAT'S A DIFFERENT STORY.

lol.
