You need to obtain an IP using Dark Basic?

Why would you want to do that?

Thats a job for the networking services of the OS
not for a 3d engine.

Going to pave the parking lot with a lawnmower?

It would be a handy to have a command that returns the ip address of the computer but I think you have to use a dll to do it or get the user to type it in.

Get Visual Basic or Visual C++ and create a DLL that will do the requested task for you. Then "apparently" drag and drop the dll into your project.

Then get out your lawnmower and pour blacktop in where the gas usually goes and get out there to your driveway

I always found that 127.0.0.1 worked for me!
