One thing I noticed (maybe I am stupid) I can't open/import any of my existing ICO files! wtf??

you could also create a bitmap and rename it to .ico
you DON't need any special program for that... :S

Err, that says they can be imported and it has ICO listed. How do you figure it can't be loaded?

when I attemp to import a file it gives me various image types like bmp,jpg,tif and a couple of others but no ico choice? am I doing something wrong?

Yes yes, that has been said for years, but a true ICO file contains various icons of various sizes, not just one single-size image.

Time to check this program out!

i can't either, seems to be a limitation of the program? guess you have to create icons form scratch, save them as a .bmp+.ico then you have to edit the .bmp if you need to change the .ico

I looked at their pdf manual and it plainly states what you can import and what can be exported. It has to be an oversite or a simple way to avoid any legal hassles. It does kind of ruin the use of the software though. I would think an icon maker would allow you to open, edit and save in ico format with other formats just being an extra bonus.

Isn't software great?

it's lame because I have half finished ico files that I made in the suck-arse icon editor in vs.net but I can't open them in this.
