Here is a game i've been working on for a wile. There are many bugs, and from what i've tried you need a somewhat fast computer to run it on (1ghz and up). Tell me what you think about it.

Up Down - go up and down (while in the chopper)
Right Left- move your guy or chopper left right
space - bail out
controle - fire weapon
return - check chopper health

-make sure you bail out before your chopper hits the ground otherwise the game will be unplayable (i havent coded that part yet).
-The level will not end, just escape after no more enemys come.
-There are tons of choppers on the screen near the end, tell me whether or not your fps drop or remain consistant.

Have Fun!

download it here.

yeah this happens every once and awile, (its something im working on). It has to do with a particle getting deleted then the game tries to find the position of the particle but it does not exist. Right now, the conditions needed to make it happen are somewhat rare (i guess you just got lucky). Thanks for the feedback.

It was quite good, I like the inertia effect. My background was just a yellow mess, is it supposed to look like that?

just add these lines:

exist = sprite exist (number)
if exist = 1 then
[Add what to do here]

endif

Its wierd, the code i have is all inside a "if sprite exist" statement, but i think the problem has to do with me using two statements to get rid of the sprites as they fly off the screen. When one deletes the sprite, the other cannot find it, so i guess ill have to put in another if sprite exist.

I forgot to mention that you should be running in 32bit desktop color otherwise the whole background will look like a bunch of yellow lines. Actually, if you played the game like this, you will not be able to see half the action that is actually going on. The game seems to run alot faster in desktop full screen, but after i finish it i plan on having it run in full screen, so this sort of thing doesn't happen. Plus, all the little dots are much more clear.
