If u like LOTR u might want to check this movie out. It has about 40 minutes of cut scennes and has indeed, more details...

Are those the same scenes as on the DVD?

Why not using printscreen button on the keyboard?

If you only want to capture a WINDOW just hold ALT then Printscreen.

Hmmm, something weird happens when I try to capture videos with print screen... when I paste it ( let's say in my paint) and save it... the screen is black... Indeed I'm trying to do it with the video paused and / or stopped

hmm...Usually the BLACK SCREEN will occur with ASF's or newer M$ format and not avi's.

That's pretty weird... I used a few days ago a program called HyperSnap, so u can really easly make screen snaps... the cool is that it could also be done with Avi's/DivX shots. I posted few days ago some shots of the tv series "Friends"...using the same program. I just tried now again, with the same friends and I get a black screen... both with HyperSnap and Print Screen button... SDK really made something funny with my computer bub

I also had black screen at times and none at others.

I wonder what happened in between lol

Can't printscreen the Backbuffer DvD's in XP
(Microsoft did it to prevent pirating or something stupid)

I think PowerDVD still has its screen capter facility, not used it in since installed XP so I'm not sure.
Could always use Dx8.1 DirectShow (DvD Features) to get what you want.

That's sad... I really wanted to show u guys some new scennes
Well, I use the PowerDVD which comes in a bundled pack with my computer, but does not seems to be working... Mandrake Linux 9.0 default player has that function of printing screen with DVDs/avi/mpegs but I never get that to work ( as most of Linux stuff, once mine crashes all the time ).
I bet MS made to prevent piracy...then u just get another program, rip the DVD off and put on the net.... easy as that, they r so stupid. They made so big thing to protect WinXP of piracy...u just have to www.sharereactor.com and type winXP...u will find all version with bootable CD's. Piracy is something impossible to stop. The way is to teach peoples why they should not use ilegal stuff. Everything can be done, CD's with blocks, OS, keygenerators... Prevent piracy is waste of time. If I could use my print screen properly, I would make many snap shots of the movie and make a nice webpage and increse the sells of their DVD's. As I cannot not, peoples are ripping the DVD and putting freely on the net... u can also get Lord of the Rings Extended from there... Shame!!! We must think in a way to teach peoples using legal things, not prevent piracy with locks lol
