Not Again!!!!
Weve had like 10 topics just like this.

Basicly:
1) Be on the forum for a while.
2) Show that you can help others.
3) Dont participate in flame wars.

You probably wont get to be mod because we already have like 6.

This really is the fifth topic inside only a few months that I have seen on this subject.

To add to what andrew said:

4) Don't post threads asking how you become a moderator.

I think it's like being cool. You don't ask if you're cool, or how to be cool. You just are or aren't :p

Becoming a mod is a long, hard process. The number 1 rule is

If you ask how, your not ready.

Don't forget you'll have to hold you breath for 30 minutes, then jump in a vulcano, cool down in the ocean, go to all the planets in the universe, visit the sun and then come back alive. If you manage to do that I'm sure Rich will make a mod of you out of respect

All i can do is dream... But at least in a dream you can experience it.... until you wake up.

I love how in order to become a mod, you can't ask to be a mod. It's very matrix-esque.

I kinda wonder why everyone wants to be mods, want a quick update on what you get to do?

1) You have to keep your temper
2) Your powers are
Delete Threads
Lock Threads
Stick Threads
Announce Threads
Flaimbait Threads
Offensive threads
Delete Posts

Thats it. Its a RESPONSIBILITY

kequor, a mod can mark a thread title with
[Flamebait]
letting people know there is some nastiness and, well, flame bait type comments inside

Easy, if you want the job as mod, we don't want you to be a mod.

Why's everyone want to be a mod anyway? Sounds like they're all just power hungry.
