I'm gonna be one of the first of several to come US soldiers to train through the German's basic training! It's part of a temporary program so that we can experience how other countries train.

the only german I know is "German Scheisse Video" and I learned that from the South Park Movie a few years back.

the only german word in the phrase is "scheisse" which means crap or sh*t. german and video are quite american

I read in a german dictionary that the word "Luft-Luft Rakete" is "Cruise Missile", which is kinda funny if you're a swede.

Luft = air in swedish
raket = rocket

so it's basically, air air rocket. kinda funny imo. but then again, my humour stinks.

Kartoffel means potato.
Links is left and rechts is right if I'm not mistaken.
Also, affengeil means "cool" or "awesome" or somthing like that, but if you translate it by separating it into two words it's:

affen = monkey or ape
geil = horny

monkeyhorny.
