I've created a tennis game that has the scores read out by the computer. It has full crowd noises and cheers/boos. You can play the single player mode or you can play against your friend.

It features:

Single Player Mode
2 Player Mode
Working Menu System
Live Commentary
Crowd Noises

You can download it here at:

Any feedback would be greatly apreciated,

Cheers,

Michael

NEVER post bitmap screenshots, ALWAYS convert to .jpg or something that doesn't have more memory than an elephant's brain.

Looks a little more like pong than tennis. Maybe you sould design some caracters for it. But that's just my 2 cents

I like it but it's a little too fast on my PC (2.8 ghz P4 laptop) and the game was over very quickly.

Have sets as well as games, and it'll be great fun

@jrowe

a .jpg will take the same memory as a .bmp since, the .jpg gets uncompressed and turned into a bitmap so to peak.

and speed based movement allways works best

dark coder:You know what I meant, bitmaps are huge files because they don't use a compression algorhythm and therefore you shouldn't upload them as screenshots, because the transfer time, for those people on modems, is huge.

way to fast, don't set the sync rate on 0 set it to something like 60. its nicely presented though and the soundefects are good

This made alot of people very angry and it has been widely regarded as a bad idea...

Hey all! Thanks for all of your feedback. In response to some of your posts about it going too fast, my sync rate is set to 100. Is this too high? Also I think why it may be going too fast is because of the number I used for the ball speed variable (it is currently set too 7). Is the whole game too fast or just the ball movement?

Thanks for your feedback,

Michael
